The usual 2 working days rule will apply for private prescriptions to be converted to NHS ones.
If the prescribing consultant deems a prescription to be urgent, please could you redeem the prescription at the appropriate hospital pharmacy. We will initially issue a one month prescription for new medications to prevent expensive drug wastage in the event that the medicine does not suit you.
